- Project MUSE (Under "Other Databases: Humanities"). One of the first ventures of its kind, Project Muse provides worldwide, networked, subscription access to the full text of the Johns Hopkins University Press's 40+ scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and mathematics. This collection includes searchable full-text of all issues of Postmodern Culture.
- RILM (VIRGO) 1967+ (Under "Other Databases: Humanities"). International musicological bibliography, listing scholarly works in all areas and formats. Includes articles on popular music.
- Religion Index (WebSPIRS) 1949+ (Under "Other Databases: Humanities"). American Theological Association (ATLA) database that compiles three print indexes with international coverage on Biblical studies, world religions, church history, and religious perspectives on social issues. Indexes 650 journals, and includes essay and book review citations.
- Social Science Abstracts (VIRGO) 1983+ (Under "Other Databases: Social Sciences"). Over 400 English language journals in sociology, anthropology, geography, economics, political science, and law. Abstracts began January, 1994. Includes references and abstracts.
- Expanded Academic Index ASAP (Under "Other Databases: General Reference). Articles covering Astronomy, Religion, Law, History, Psychology, Humanities, Current Events, Sociology, Communications and the General Sciences from 1980. References, abstracts, and some full-text articles.
- Contemporary Authors (Under "Other Databases: General Reference). Provides detailed listings for over 100,000 writers of the 20th century from current and
retrospective sources. Many entries include personal information, career summary, writings, interviews, and biographical and critical resources. Covers all of the novelists whose works are assigned in this course.
